Ownership
The heap.page name, site design, original writing, annotations, classifications, compilations, and software are owned by heap.page or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
A factual claim, title, name, date, or link may not itself be protected by copyright, but the selection, arrangement, expression, and presentation of the heap.page collection may be protected. No ownership of a third-party work is claimed merely because it is referenced on the service.
Third-party materials
Linked articles, photographs, videos, trademarks, games, documents, posts, and other third-party materials remain subject to the rights and terms of their respective owners. A source link, citation, or description does not transfer those rights to heap.page or to a visitor.
heap.page generally links to the original or an authorized report and adds original classification or analysis. Short excerpts, thumbnails, or other limited uses may appear only where permission, license, public-domain status, or applicable law supports the use.
Permitted use
You may access and use public pages for personal, educational, journalistic, or other lawful purposes. You may quote limited portions with accurate attribution and a link to the relevant heap.page page when the use is permitted by law.
These permissions do not allow you to reproduce a substantial part of a collection, resell member material, remove rights notices, imply endorsement, or use the service in a way that substitutes for heap.page without separate written permission.
Unauthorized and sensitive material
heap.page does not invite uploads of stolen source code, unreleased game builds, paywalled articles, private credentials, unlawfully obtained personal information, or other material that a person is not authorized to distribute.
A page may report that leaked or disputed material exists, describe a claim at a factual level, and link to lawful reporting without hosting the underlying material. Reporting on an allegation does not mean that heap.page endorses the acquisition or publication of the source material.
Copyright notice
To report alleged infringement, email copyright@heap.page and identify the copyrighted work, the specific heap.page URL and material at issue, the requested action, your name and contact details, and the basis for your authority to act for the rights holder.
A notice should include a good-faith statement that the disputed use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law, and a statement that the information supplied is accurate. A legally formal notice may require a physical or electronic signature and any additional information required by applicable law.
Review and response
heap.page may ask for information reasonably necessary to identify the work, locate the material, or confirm authority. It may remove or restrict material while reviewing a notice, notify the affected contributor where appropriate, preserve relevant records, and document the outcome.
Incomplete, misleading, fraudulent, or abusive notices may be rejected. Nothing in this procedure limits the ability to remove material for another lawful reason or to leave material available when the reported use is authorized or otherwise lawful.
Counter-notice and restoration
A person whose material was restricted may email copyright@heap.page with the affected URL, identification of the removed material, the reason restoration is requested, reliable contact information, and any statements or consent required by applicable law.
heap.page may provide a valid counter-notice to the original claimant and may restore material when legally permitted. Restoration is not guaranteed, and separate editorial, privacy, safety, or contractual grounds may continue to justify a restriction.
Repeat infringement
Where appropriate and in suitable circumstances, heap.page may suspend or terminate accounts or contributor access associated with repeated infringement. Decisions may consider the validity, frequency, context, and outcome of notices rather than relying only on an unverified allegation.
heap.page may also correct attribution, replace a source link, narrow an excerpt, remove an asset, or publish a correction when that response resolves a rights concern more accurately than removing an entire factual record.
