01

Machine discovery, human publication

Automated scans watch declared sources for changes and possible additions. A machine may classify a candidate or prepare an internal draft, but it cannot approve or publish an entry.

A named editor visits the permitted source, verifies facts, compares alternatives, writes or substantially revises the public note, and signs the final version.

02

What a public note contains

Our default link-only entry uses the source name, direct URL, necessary factual metadata, and an original judgment about who should use it, why it was selected, and when another option may be better.

We do not republish source descriptions, articles, newsletters, images, screenshots, logos, video, or audio unless a recorded license or case-specific review permits that use.

03

Freshness and corrections

Every entry separates the automated link-check time from the last human verification time. A single failure creates a review task; it does not silently remove or declare a source obsolete.

Meaningful additions, changes, restorations, and archives are released as immutable publications with dated change logs. Corrections create a new version rather than rewriting history.
