What it does
MojoAuth provides passwordless login methods for consumer-facing applications through APIs and SDKs. Teams can offer passkeys, magic links, one-time codes or social sign-in, including an incremental migration path alongside an application's existing password-based login.
- Offer several passwordless methods through one integration. Passkeys, email magic links, email codes and phone codes address different devices and user preferences. Teams can choose the methods appropriate to signup and returning-user login rather than requiring every user to create and remember a new password.
- Use device-backed passkeys. FIDO2 and WebAuthn support enables authentication through mechanisms such as device biometrics. This changes the sign-in experience, but the application still needs a considered account recovery and cross-device strategy for users who lose access to their original device.
- Support social and mobile login paths. The product describes Google, Apple and Facebook sign-in, additional OIDC providers and One Tap flows. WhatsApp codes are an Enterprise option, so a team should compare provider support, audience access and messaging requirements before choosing a mobile-first authentication path.
- Introduce passwordless authentication gradually. MojoAuth can run alongside an existing login system while users move to new methods. It also describes one-time codes as an additional verification step for sensitive actions, allowing a team to improve particular flows without replacing every authentication path at once.
- Customize the integration and communication. REST APIs, SDKs and webhooks support embedding authentication into an existing app. Templates and settings for codes, expiry and retries give teams control over the experience, with verification responses supplying user information for the application's own session and authorization logic.
- Plan scale, regional handling and support. The service describes monthly-active-user pricing, data residency options and different support or uptime arrangements by plan. Evaluate these against the expected audience, authentication volume and operational requirements, especially when message delivery or regional processing affects whether a user can sign in.
